Sawmill Resort Homeowners Association Inc. is a Not-for-Profit Co-Operative Incorporated in September 2010 in compliance with the requirements of Chapters 617 and 719 of the Florida Statutes. Our resort consists of permanent (leased) sites, Cabins, RV Sites. Van Sites, and Tent Sites. As part of our full-service facilities, our resort also operates a store, gift shop, package liquor store, two full services bars and a grill.
Membership share certificates are issued to each Shareholder of the Corporation, and members are issued a proprietary long term (99 years) lease for their individual residential units. The price for the issuance of the proprietary lease is the price of the membership certificate.
Sawmill Resort operates as the largest gay and lesbian community in the Southeast. At Sawmill you can relax at our heated outdoor clothing optional pool, experience the tranquility of the spacious grounds, walk around Ricki Lake or enjoy our nature trails.
Our Residents & Guests dance the night away in Woody's Nightclub and enjoy shows at the Main Stage inside our massive courtyard. We offer 2 bars, Video Lounge, various themed events, entertainment, daily activities and delicious food from our Grill 365 days a year!
